This page explains what data Vertex Investments collects when you subscribe to the briefing, what we use it for, and the rights you have over it.
1. What we collect
- The email address you enter in the sign-up form, and the language of the page you signed up on.
- When you gave consent, and the exact consent wording you agreed to.
- Where you came from: the referring page, campaign parameters (UTM) and which form you used.
- Your country (derived from the connection) and a one-way hash of your IP address, used to prevent spam. We do not store your raw IP address.
- Anonymous usage counts: form views, Telegram button clicks and calculator use.
2. Why we use it
- To send you the email briefing you signed up for.
- To prevent fake sign-ups and abuse.
- To understand which channels bring readers, so we can improve the content.
We do not sell, rent or share your email with third parties for advertising.
3. Where it is stored and who processes it
Data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure (Workers and D1). To send emails we use a dedicated email delivery provider, which receives your address only to deliver the briefing. The site uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block bots and Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookie-free) to count visits.
4. How long we keep it
Your email is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Anonymous usage counts are kept for up to 24 months.
5. Your rights
- Unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.
- Ask to see, correct or delete your data by emailing hello@vertexinvestment.blog.
- Withdraw your consent; this does not affect emails sent before you withdrew it.
- If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
6. Cookies
The site sets no advertising cookies. Your browser may store a few technical values locally (theme, language, whether you have already subscribed); these are never sent anywhere.
